Southern Sass

In case you didn’t already know I happen to be very crafty and creative!  My niece, Zoe, arriving 2 years ago really heightened my “need” to be crafty. When she came along I realized just how much money I was spending on clothes, hairbows, shoes, .. etc. and I finally decided to put my crafty side to work and make a little bit of everything i had been spending all of my money on. I practiced and experimented with all different materials and ideas and the time I spent working made me realize that my dream would be to someday open a boutique. Not long after Zoe was born my sister Brandy had a baby girl, named Aubrey. I also have a neice, Kaitlynn, and 3 nephews, Cory, Lucas, and Jake. They are my inspiration and at this point in my life I am ready to start making changes and putting my creativity out there for everyone to enjoy. I work full time for CSC but my ideas and dreams of opening a boutique have never taken a back seat. My neice, Kaitlynn is also referred to as “Sass”. ~ Southern Sass Boutique ~ reflects her nickname and the whole style of my creativity in general. I am always open to new idea’s and suggestions. My dream of owning a boutique gets closer as each day passes. Right now I want to get the word out and i want people to enjoy the many different things i have come up with over the past couple of years. Enjoy!

Sunny Spring Saturday

Good afternoon! It is a BEAUTIFUL day! I have already been sitting on my porch with zoey dog trying to get a sunny glow. SO much has happend to me here lately so I figured I would let other people know so it wouldn’t happen to them! SO basically last week I went home from work and when I checked my voicemail I had a message from a guy named “Danny Jones”. He had a VERY thick Indian accent and givin’ the work I do I am EXTREMELY good at determining languages and accents (lol). SO I knew it was someone from India. ANYWAY – the message basically said I was going to have a law suit filed against me and my SSN#. SO of course I called the number back and there was no answer. I am really worried about it so I asked around and everyone had drawn the conclusion it was either a mistake or a scam so I just stopped worrying about it. Well last Saturday I went and stayed with my sister, Brandy, and she also had a message on her home answering machine asking about me, SO once again I became bothered by it. I called and called all weekend and again on Monday – no answer. I got lone and did a reverse phone look up and the number came from somewhere in NYC – so I was still confused and aggravted. WELL Tuesday when I went to lunch i had another voicemail from him. INFURIATED I called back and he said he was from a “National affidavit processing center”. I googled it and there was NOTHING. I asked him a million and one quesitons and he never gave me a straight answer. The only thing I got out of him was that “Quick cash” was expecting a payment from me and legal action would be taken. I was PISSED and explained that he had the wrong person and I don’t know what in the HELL “quick cash” is. SO .. he applogogized to me but I was still mad and demanded he provide the info. he had about me. SURPRISINGLY he had my name, social, address, phone number AND place of employment. At that point I went slick off and panicked. We hung up and I was still completely dumbfounded. SO – then on Wednesday I got ANOTHER message – from another person – foreign – thick accent - claiming to be from an investigations division – COMPLETE BULLSHIT – is what it is. BUT – he told me I was in “danger” and there have been about  voicemails in total – all foreign speaking people – weird numbers – telling me I am in danger and being sued. My computer has a virus – these people have all of personal info – I am completely ENRAGED. So I went online and submitted a complaint against all of the numbers they called me from – I  contacted my bank – froze my credit report – and also contacted the DHS – as well as a couple of attorneys. WELL after a couple of days a few people got back to me and told me this was an internaitonal scam – the FBI is already involved and this is being done overseas. SO – at this point I really don’t know what legal action can be taken against these people. They are tricking people into paying money and they are invading and obtaining personal information for illegal purposes. I am pissed and stressed over this and .. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else. SO I am going to leave you with a website .. if you get a call that is a scam .. report it immediately!!!!

www.800notes.com (where you should submit your complaint against the phone number)

Finally got it figured out!

So I am FINALLY getting this whole blog thing. Tori helped me get it all decorated so now I am more interested in it! haha. Today was a little hectic. I went to work and here lately it is driving me insane. They want to change rules and make rules and add and subtract from the job I am used to and that is never a good thing. I am not a big fan of change when it comes to work. I also got another weird call. Let me tell you the whole story. SO .. last week on Thursday I had a voicemail from this guy. He was foreign and def. from the middle east ( I am a pro. when it comes to determining foreign languages, so trust me!) it was very thick and annoying. He said he was calling from the ” National Affidavit Processing Center”. Total horse shit .. but not knowing any better of course I was worried about it. SO .. I ask everyone about it and I was finally convinced it was a mistake or whatever so then .. on Saturday I went to my sisters house and they had also called her and left her a voicemail for me to call them back. So I am freaking out again and all this time I call and call that number and nobody ever answers. SO .. I went to lunch today and I had another voicemail from “Danny Jones” – his alias … so I call him back madder than hell and he tells me they are suing me over my lack of payment to “quick cash”. I was like NUNUNUNUNOOOO .. you have the wrong person. I don’t know anything about quick cash .. I don’t know you .. where you are .. what you are .. whatever … I asked him to verify my personal info. if this is supposed to be filed against me. SO .. thinking he wasn’t gonna have anything I was completely DUMBFOUNDED when he read my name, address, phone number, SSN# and place of employment back to me … after reviewing “my file” he did determine it was a mistake and told me he was sorry to bother me. SO .. we argued a few more minutes and then I went back into work. I was so annoyed I told everyone my story and when I got home I contacted and attorney and submitted a complaint through the FBI and also discovered a whole site full of complaints from calls from that same number. SO .. this isn’t over. I am going to figure this whole thing out and make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone else. ANYWAYS .. I am getting ready to watch a movie with Tori and Zoe. PEACE OUT GIRL SCOUTS! ;)

My first post

So tonight was relxing. I came home from work @6:30. Chris picked out Lasagna for dinner so we popped it in the oven and went and rented a movie. We ate, I washed the dishes and did a load of laundry and we watched the movie, Redemption. It was pretty good. Now I am FINALLY posting a blog. Tori (my sister in law) finally got me to get one. I like it. I like to write. Not necesarily about myself all the time, lol but .. I don’t mind talking about my day. Anyways, I have a lot of big ideas for my boutique. My sister Brandy and I have been talking for a couple of months about getting things started. I don’t have any kids of my own but I do have nieces and nephews. They kind of inspired my creativity behind hair bows, wall letters, specialty clothing, … all kinds of things I have made for them over the years. Apprently my creativity is worth more money than I realized. I have kind of started a business without realizing it! haha. Anyways, more about that tomorrow. I am going to bed. Good night!
